Advice, advocacy and support for young refugees, asylum seekers and migrants aged 13-19. Also provide advice and support for refugee, asylum seeker or new migrant families to improve access to primary services and successfully settle into the local community.



Refuge Community Outreach Project

Range of support services for women from Vietnamese speaking communities who are experiencing domestic violence. Casework, representation, advocacy and groupwork. One-to-one support in mother tongue languages on domestic violence issues. Self-help and awareness groupwork. Health and education group activities. Out of hours national helpline 0808 2000 247.



Deptford Reach

Day centre for adults who are vulnerable through homelessness, mental ill health, loneliness, severe poverty. Low cost meals, free tea, coffee, soup. Clothing store, shower, laundry facilities. GP, chiropodist, access to health care. Housing advice, resettlement support. Literacy, numeracy, IT classes. Training, educational, employment support. Leisure activities. Private Rented Scheme.



LB Lewisham - Single Homeless Intervention and Prevention Team

Centralised assessment and referral service, responsible for preventing homelessness and placing vulnerable single homeless people with support needs into supported accommodation. Clients must have a local connection with Lewisham.



999 Club - Downham Drop-in

Drop-in centre offering social and practical support for the homeless and those with alcohol, drug, and mental and physical health problems. Tea and toast served all day. Advice and advocacy in relation to wide range of benefit issues and support in finding housing, Tuesday and Thursday. On site consultations by other specialist agencies.

Advice and information on a range of subjects, including welfare rights, housing rights, money and debt, consumer, immigration and nationality, employment. Gateway assessment advice service Tuesday and Friday 10am - 12 noon.



Sydenham CAB

Advice and information on a range of issues, including housing, benefits, consumer, debt, immigration and employment rights.



LB Lewisham - Housing Options Centre

Assessment of entitlement to housing for people who are homeless or threatened with homelessness. Temporary accommodation where a statutory duty may exist. General housing advice and information for those in housing need. Housing register enquiries. Out of hours (after 5pm) emergencies phone 020 8778 0877.



London Probation Trust - Lewisham High Street

Preparation of reports for Courts, supervision of offenders in the community, work with prisoners and their families, information on the Criminal Justice system.



Meridian Money Advice

Debt advice and counselling service for residents of London Boroughs of Greenwich and Lewisham. Help with financial matters, including statements, negotiations with creditors and repayment programmes. Help with court summonses for debt. Welfare benefits advice including assistance with Disability Living Allowance claims and appeals.
