Shelter - London Housing Advice Appointment Service

Specialist advice on housing, debt and welfare for people over the age of 25. Services include help accessing employment, accommodation and local services. These services are provided at outreach sessions (by appointment only) in Hackney, Newham, Camden, Hammersmith and Fulham, Barking, Lambeth, Bromley, Barnet, Ealing and Lewisham.

Information, support and befriending for older people. 2 charity shops stocking second hand furniture for low income groups. Home removals service for all age groups.



Crossroads - Greenwich and Lewisham

Respite care service for carers of people with disabilities, chronic illness, sensory impairment and HIV/AIDS. Respite care service for Asian elderly, Asian carers, black and ethnic minority carers. Caring service for children and families affected by HIV/AIDS. Service available 7.30am-10.30pm, 365 days a year.



Federation of Refugees from Vietnam in Lewisham (FORVIL)

Centre for Vietnamese elders, carers & people with health problems. Access to advice on benefits, language support, health care, housing. Health advice drop-in and health talks. Mobile optician. Carers support project provides advice, counselling, help with applications, training, social activities, outings, short breaks. Lunch club two days a week. Games, trips, cultural events, festivities.
