Refugee Council - Head Office and London One Stop Service

Advice & information services for refugees & asylum seekers. Issues dealt with include the asylum decision process & UKBA support system, support & entitlement to the welfare system, training, education & employment. Specialist services for those with health/other additional support needs. Own-Language Telephone Advice Service (OLTAS) M-F 9.30am-1pm, 2pm-5pm (Weds 2pm-5pm).

Rhondda Cynon Taf CAB

Advice on a range of issues, including housing rights, welfare rights and benefits, money and debt, consumer rights, employment rights. Specialist legal help in debt and welfare benefits. Specialist debt drop-in Thursday 1.30pm - 3pm. Outreach services.

Cambridge CAB

Advice and information on a range of issues, including housing, welfare rights and benefits, money and debt, consumer and employment rights. Specialist help in debt, welfare benefits and housing. Representation for debt and repossession hearings in the county court and at social security tribunals. Fortnightly legal advice clinic. Outreach services in Girton, Sawston and Addenbrookes Hospital.

Advice on immigration and nationality law, including asylum and refugee law. Representation at immigration appeals and tribunal hearings.

New Forest CAB - Ringwood

Central Africa's Rights & AIDS (CARA) Society

Advice, information and representation for people facing disadvantage, including older and disabled people and those living with or affected by HIV/AIDS. Subjects dealt with include debt, immigration, benefits, housing and homelessness, employment, family mediation, HIV/AIDS. Translation and interpreting, signposting and referrals.

Notre Dame Refugee Centre

Drop-in centre for asylum seekers and refugees. Twice weekly caf├® offering hot meal, plus Advice on immigration and asylum applications, housing, benefits and accessing social services. Health service Thurs fortnightly 12 noon-2pm. Interpreting service. Basic literacy ESOL classes Mon 11am-1pm. Visiting and accompanying services. Fortnightly immigration surgery for those refused asylum.

Specialist advice on employment/discrimination law. Representation at employment tribunals/county court. Outreach services in Crosby and St Helens.
