General information
Service offered: Since 2004, the Hope Centre has provided high quality advocacy, support and training for those most removed from society. The Hope Centre charity grew out of a church initiative to support people challenged by unemployment, skills shortages and social deprivation and over the years we have provided courses, advice and guidance to hundreds of people in the borough. The Hope Centre works across two sites – our base at Atherton Street and our Homelessness Day Centre at 103 Church Street to provide an award winning service to those who are most vulnerable in our community. Provides a range of prevention services for people at risk of homelessness through the provision of advice, life skills training, advocacy, support, guidance and training. Services include information and advice around employment and training. Help with job searches, CV and interview preparation. Self-confidence and assertiveness courses.
Target group: People at risk of homelessness, including people with substance misuse or mental health issues.
Area served: Borough of St Helens.
