General information
Service offered: Headway Plymouth’s primary objective is to provide support to survivors of traumatic brain injury, help them to come to terms with the changes in their lives and to learn to live as independently as possible. Clients are helped to redevelop independent living, social and communication skills through activities such as drawing, painting, cooking, board games, all designed to improve cognitive and problems solving skills. We provide respite care for family and carers.
Target group: People who have experienced an acquired brain injury.
Area served: Plymouth and district, including Saltash, Cornwall.
