General information
Service offered: Practical help, advice, support and community activities to the people of Addiscombe and its immediate environs. Includes a Lunch Club, on Mon. & Tues; Also escorted Shopping Bus trips, Wed. & Thurs; and 'Extend' Exercise Classes, Two Classes every Mon. Plus volunteer drivers to Health-Related appointments; Befrienders; and Advocacy; plus 'one-off' Odd-Jobs, minor Gardening, etc. We deal with client's needs, at whatever time, as/when required.We also hold a small store of equipment, (wheelchairs, crutches, commodes, bath seats etc.), for temporary loan.
Target group: Mainly for the 50+ Age Group, but may be able to assist some disabled clients, if younger than that.
Area served: Addiscombe; Asburton; Long Lane area - including the Stroud Green, Tollgate, and Longheath Estates.and the Park Hill area of Fairfield Ward.
