Service offered: The Personal Support Unit (PSU) is a national charity which provides practical and emotional support to people going through family and civil court alone. The type of cases we deal with include access to children, divorce, housing and money claims. We do not provide legal advice but can help at all stages in the court process from filling in court paperwork, helping to prepare people for hearings, attending hearings (in Preston courts) and signposting to other agencies. We cover Lancashire and can offer a face to face appointment in Preston. Our services are free and confidential.
