General information
Service offered: The Argyll and Bute Service offers support to Adults across Argyll and Bute who wish to address issues arising from alcohol or other substance misuse. We will assist people to manage change at whatever stage of their recovery they are at. We will do this by assisting people to identify the changes they wish to make and provide advice and support to achieve these. We have an office base in Dunoon and staff located in Oban , Mid Argyll, Islay and Kintyre. We aim to see people in locations that suit them whether in the community or their own homes. We offer : 1:1 work with people to identify the goals they wish to achieve and support to accomplish them. Groupwork /Peer Support. Harm reduction advice. Needle exchange service. D.T.T.O (drug testing for the courts ). Advice/support to relatives /family members
