Service offered: 2 Way Tenancy Solutions CIC work with hard to reach residents/individuals who have failed to engage with services, be it housing, health and other support providers. We find the problems and issues that underlie the presenting issues, such as rent arrears, benefits problems, health, budgeting, and money management and address them. This gives people the tools, knowledge and skills to help themselves in the future to avoid getting into debt and losing their home or health. Our aim and objective is to prevent homelessness caused by the inability to pay rent by tenants and by a need to avoid an increase of rent arrears by landlords. Importantly we aim to work with clients to ensure they achieve their financial confidence. Our services for tenants include; budgeting and debt/money management issues / Digital inclusion e.g. - focus on things such as, online shopping, safe internet use, and basic word processing. Benefits advice and tenancy maintenance and sustainment. Pre-employment skills such as CV writing, interview techniques and volunteer opportunities. For landlords -: we work with them to avoid costs associated with possession proceedings and relet costs.
