General information
Service offered: Coventry Vision Hub is a registered charity providing practical and social support for blind and partially sighted adults, their families and carers in the Coventry area. We offer a wide range of activities including social groups, IT sessions, support with smartphones and tablets, creative writing, music, craft, cooking, walking, allotment, T’ai Chi, bowls, braille, Showdown and yoga. We also organise regular theatre trips and occasional outings. All our sessions are fully accessible and supported by experienced volunteers. We have a minibus service to bring people safely to our Centre from their homes and back again. We provide advice on and access to products and technology designed to make living with a visual impairment a little easier, as well as providing casework and general support and signposting. CVH has a charity shop at its Centre in Earlsdon.
Target group: Adults 18+ with visual impairments.
