General information
Service offered: Coventry Resource Centre for the Blind is a registered charity providing practical and social support for blind and partially sighted people, their families and carers in the Coventry area. We offer a wide range of activities including social groups, IT sessions, support with smartphones and tablets, creative writing, music, craft, cooking, walking, allotment, T’ai Chi, bowls, braille, Showdown and yoga. We have four monthly satellite groups around the city, a monthly creative reading group and a youth group. We organise regular theatre trips and occasional outings. All our sessions are fully accessible and supported by experienced volunteers. We have a minibus service to bring people safely to the centre from their homes and back again.
