General information

Service offered: Our service/carers provide overnight short break stays for children/young people with disabilities and neurodiversity, within the home of the short break carers. We promote fun, safe, fulfilling opportunities and activities for children/young people with disabilities/neurodiversity, alongside achieving positive outcomes, development of independence, socialization and safety. The service offers 24hr+ periods of short breaks care, 365 days per year. The short breaks carers are supported by an out of hours service if support is required outside office hours.

Staffing: The team is made up of Service Manager, Practice Manager, Social Workers, Paediatric Nurse, Child and Family Practitioner, Transitions Worker and Business Support Officers. We also work in partnership with a Psychology Service who can offer psychological support/advice to the service.

Public transport: Honiton Road Park and Ride Bus Service is 5 minute walk away. Digby and Sowton train station is a 20 minute walk away.
