General information
Service offered: Our Peer Support Service in North Ayrshire can offer you practical and emotional support if you’re experiencing mental health challenges, including self-harm or thoughts of suicide. At Peers4Hope, each member of the team has lived experience of managing and living with mental ill health. Our insight means we might have some understanding of how you’re feeling and what you’re going through. We can offer you compassionate and non-judgemental one-to-one support if you’re mental health and wellbeing is being impacted by whatever’s going on in your life. We’ll help you to develop strategies to maintain good wellbeing, and we’ll explore with you your overall wellbeing and the things that are important to you in your life.
Target group: If you’re aged 18-65 and accessing local mental health services, you can access Peers4Hope support by contacting us directly (self-referral). We also accept referrals on your behalf like for example from the NHS, social work and other voluntary organsiations. All you need to do is complete a referral form. You can call or email us to ask about a form or for more information.
