General information

Service offered: We provide free and independent support to anyone impacted by crime or traumatic incidents in Lincolnshire. We are an independent charity, and you can contact us for support regardless of whether you’ve contacted the police, and no matter how long ago the crime took place. We’ll help you to overcome the impact of crime. Depending on what you need, the caseworker will work together with you to create a tailored support plan to help you cope and move forward from the impact of crime. This might include improving your wellbeing or sense of safety. Our caseworkers will advocate for you and can also put you in touch with other services outside of Victim Support that can help. While we are able to assist with most types of crime, we do not support victims of domestic abuse or adult victims of sexual violence. Instead, we would help to signpost and refer you to the specialist services. Our in-house service ‘The Castle Service’ offers specialist support for children and young people under 18 years old who are victims of sexual offences, including rape, sexual abuse, child sexual exploitation, and more. Our approach is about empowering people, helping them to cope and move forward from the impact of crime.

Target group: People who have been affected by crime
