General information

Service offered: Part of a national programme called Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT), this service offers support for people (16+) experiencing mild to moderate depression and/or anxiety either living in or registered with a Greenwich Borough GP. Offering free psychological treatment (in line with the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE) guidelines for anxiety and depression) these include Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), guided self-help and counselling to help people learn ways to help themselves and to feel more able to cope with their conditions. They also have a referral pathway for people living with a long term conditions. Please note, due to COVID-19 all appointments are either via telephone or virtual via video calls.
