General information
Service offered: A free and confidential NHS service (part of the Improving Access to Psychological Therapies – IAPT initiative) for people (16+) registered with a GP in Gateshead, experiencing common mental health difficulties such as anxiety, depression and stress. They offer a range of psychological therapies to help people feel better such as therapy groups, online courses and one-to-one sessions. In particular, this service offers help to people experiencing chronic pain from living with physical health conditions impacting their emotional wellbeing.
