General information

Service offered: The AWRC is a registered charity offering support services to Black, Minority, Ethnic (BME) women experiencing domestic & sexual abuse within violence against women and girls (VAWG), which includes, forced marriage and honour related and faith-based abuse. The AWRC provides one to one domestic abuse advocacy services, group work programmes, advice and information services on welfare benefits, housing & employment: Provides training opportunities to women through a range of activities including ESOL, Computing, Sewing, Yoga and Healthy Eating classes. AWRC practices an open-door policy and supports all women in need.
