Service offered: A Mobility Assessment Centre providing outdoor mobility plus some indoor mobility, advice and information for disabled children, adults and elderly people. Carrying out assessments for driving ability, car adaptation, powered wheelchairs/scooters, manual wheelchairs, vehicle choice, passenger transfer and wheelchair loading. Also provide driving tuition and training courses for professionals in the mobility field. There is also part of a real aircraft fuselage to enable transfer and support seating assessments for aircraft together with a loan scheme for the equipment. A Bugzi loan scheme for a powered wheelchair for children under 5 is also available.
