General information
Service offered: The Ark is a community meeting place and advice centre. We provide advice on a wide range of issues including welfare benefits, housing, eviction, employment, general life skills and community issues. Alongside the advice service we run a community meeting place. This is a place of welcome where welcome, friendship, conversation are offered at the same time as free tea, coffee and biscuits. Within the community meeting place we also run a number of community activity groups such as a friendship group, a craft club and an art group, please see our events page for more information on the activity group. The Ark is a project that is run by the independent charity Phoenix Farm Open Door Project. Phoenix Farm Open Door Project was set up in 2003 to provide support to the Gedling area, and through The Ark it has been able to do that for the last 15 years.
