General information
Service offered: Service for people affected by cancer in Newham and neighbouring boroughs - patients, carers and their families. Provide support, counselling, information and advice on cancer and related problems. Pre-bereavement and bereavement support, weekly drop-in sessions (main session Wednesday afternoon, Asian drop-in Monday afternoon), children's resource section, and advice and advocacy on any issue affecting the patient or carer which impacts their treatment and wellbeing. Also offers low-cost complementary therapies. Not a medical support service.
