General information
Service offered: We provide dedicated, year-round support to care-experienced young adults connected to the London Boroughs of Richmond, Kingston, and Hounslow, helping them build stable, connected, and independent lives. Our services focus on reducing isolation, easing financial hardship, and empowering young people to move forward with confidence. We offer personalised, practical support tailored to individual needs—whether that’s improving living conditions, navigating everyday challenges, or working towards personal goals. Financial Support We help remove financial barriers that may prevent young people from progressing. This includes bridging gaps between local authority allowances and the real cost of setting up a home, supporting access to education, training, and employment opportunities, and assisting care-experienced young parents with essential items for their children. Practical Support Our volunteers provide both short- and long-term help with everyday tasks that can be difficult to manage alone. This includes DIY and home setup, completing forms and accessing benefits, liaising with housing providers and utility companies, managing debt, and connecting individuals with additional services to support their health and wellbeing. Community & Social Connection We create opportunities for young adults to build meaningful relationships and expand their support networks through regular social activities and events. This includes our flagship annual Christmas Day event, offering a welcoming and supportive environment for those who might otherwise spend the day alone. Through everything we do, we aim to create community, open up opportunities, and support brighter futures.
