General information
Service offered: The Advocacy Bridge CIC supports autistic and neurodivergent adults — including those who are late-diagnosed or self-identifying — to move from confusion and overwhelm into clarity, and from clarity into practical, structured action. We provide grounded, real-world support to people navigating complex systems such as health and social care, housing, benefits, and employment — including returning to or starting work. Our approach is different. We work at a pace that feels safe and manageable, breaking processes down step-by-step so individuals can understand their options, make informed decisions, and regain a sense of control. Many of the people we support have experienced burnout, trauma, or long periods of feeling misunderstood or dismissed. Our work focuses on rebuilding trust — in systems, in support, and in themselves. Support may include: Preparing for and attending appointments (e.g. assessments, reviews) Understanding rights, options, and next steps Breaking down paperwork, processes, and decisions Advocacy during key life transitions Emotional grounding alongside practical guidance We act as a bridge between individuals and services — helping people feel heard, understood, and able to move forward with clarity and confidence.
