General information
Service offered:Actors’ Trust helps actors and stage managers in good times and bad. If you’re unable to work for reasons beyond your control, you may be able to apply for support.
Actors’ Trust may be able to support actors and those in stage management who:
• Have a long-term, degenerative or terminal illness or disability.
• Are unable to work due to a short-term injury or health issue (defined as impacting an applicant for up to one year).
• In some circumstances, need help with medical, health or therapy costs where access to treatment is impacting their ability to work.
• Are currently homeless or at imminent risk of homelessness.
• Are of retirement age, unable to work and require support to maintain a good quality of life.
• Need help with care home fees, in certain circumstances.
• Have had their career impacted by a recent bereavement, unexpected caring responsibilities or another major, unexpected life event.
