General information
Service offered: CDARS is committed to improve the lives of vulnerable people and those with complex needs arising from the ill-effects of addiction to alcohol, drugs and other psychosocial conditions. CDARS aims to relieve the suffering caused by drug and alcohol misuse in Wandsworth through specialist complex psychosocial non-residential treatment. Our support package to substance misusers is person-centred, so each client receives individualised help and guidance. We work with them on all aspects of their lives, our multidimensional approach has a long-term impact on their health and wellbeing, and supports a successful reintegration in the local community. We help our clients develop their skills, find a job, build a social network, attend to housing issues, all round improving their mental health and wellbeing. Recently we expanded the remit of our work and received funding to implement a challenge and change programme working with male perpetrators of domestic violence and abuse in Merton.
Target group: Substance misusers and their families.
Area served: London Borough of Wandsworth + Merton.
