Service offered: The Violence Prevention Programme ( VPP) works with violent/abusive men to help them change their behaviour. The Women's Support Service is for those who have a partner on the programme. Young people's service for abusive young people and their parents/carers . Children's therapeutic service. Arabic speakers service 'Al-Aman'. Advice, support, counselling and information. DVIP does not accept self-referrers to the VPP if: There is on-going police involvement as a result of domestic abuse – we need to wait for this to be concluded before we can assess you. Your children are known to social services because of concerns about your behaviour in the home – we need the children’s social worker to make the referral on your behalf. You intend to use the programme to support an application for child contact in the family court – a Cafcass officer or social worker need to make the referral on your behalf.
Target group: Abusive/violent men and their partners. Young people and children affected by domestic abuse.
