Service offered: Personal care tasks are undertaken with great sensitivity. Our Care Staff recognise the importance of preserving an individual’s dignity and where possible improve their quality of life. Personal Care - Dressing/undressing. Assisting with transfers from or to bed/chair/toilet/bath , Assistance with feeding, including peg feeding.Assisting with personal washing and personal hygiene. Assisting with toileting and support with continence management. Assisting user in preparation for trips or visits outside their own home. Administration of medication. Bed-making, including cleaning up after incontinence . Maintaining health - Support and advice to develop and maintain a healthy lifestyle. Support to access and use assistive technology and aids. Support to access health services (GP, Opticians, medical appointments etc). Emotional wellbeing and personal development - Promotion of social and emotional skills. Support to establish and maintain personal safety. Meals and nutrition - Support and assistance to plan menus, shop for and store foods. Support and assistance with all aspects of meal preparation. Advice and support about healthy eating. Housework and laundry - Support and assistance with all aspects of cleaning and tidying the home. Support and assistance with laundering clothes and ironing. Social and leisure - Support and assistance to develop a social network and maintain contacts with family and friends. Support and assistance to be involved in the local community e.g. using local facilities. Cultural and Faith needs - Support with cultural and faith needs e.g. attending place of worship, participation in cultural activities. Training, we can offer our staff free training leading to a nationally recognised qualification, including: Diploma in Health & Social Care / Levels 2 and 3 / Leadership & Management in Health & Social Care Level 5 / Care Certificate / Business Administration Levels 2 and 3.
