Service offered: The Night Centre at WLM Seymour Place works alongside the Westminster Winter Night Shelter this season with the SOS outreach team that covers the City of Westminster to ensure that more bed spaces are available in the borough during the night. We offer 15 additional beds for male clients who can use our Night Centre every night at no cost. With this groundbreaking initiative, WLM Seymour Place, fills a gap in the borough helping homeless people who are close to the job market or already working but can't afford to pay rent and live in their own accommodation. During the day, we work with our service users building their employability skills and confidence so they can live a fulfiling life again away from the streets. We are excited to be working on this new initiative, in collaboration with other organisations in Westminster, to create borough-wide pathways out of homelessness for our clients. Asset coaches will offer strengths-based support to help our service users with employability skills and we plan to work in partnership with a number of organisations to offer education and training workshops to support people with their first steps back into work. Our plan is for WLM Seymour Place to become a thriving community hub with particular emphasis on employability.
