Service offered: Drop-in centre for older people and their relatives and carers, providing help and information. Onward referrals and free initial appointments for legal and benefits advice each month. We have a footcare health clinic twice-weekly (Tuesdays and Fridays) (charges are £25 of which £5 is donated to Age Concern. weekly coffee morning on Mondays - drop in social event. Annual events include 'Lend a Hand Day' in partnership with Rotary Club of Stevenage (April); free electric blanket safety testing in Sept/Oct; annual Carol Service (December); plus knitting fundraiser 'Big Knit' in partnership with Innocent Smoothies. Contact us for more details. We also offer hire of mobility scooters and wheelchairs (daily or for holiday use). Age Concern Stevenage are now booking agents for Britannia Coaches.
