General information
Service offered: Our Housing Options Officers want to help and are experienced in assisting people in various situations of housing need. We have statutory responsibility for anyone at risk of homelessness or homeless. We have a limited homelessness prevention fund and rent deposit guarantee scheme. We also operate the Home Option, social housing waiting list.
Target group: People who have lost their accommodation; People who are worried about losing their home or People who need to move.
Area served: Uttlesford District Council (North-west Essex): including Saffron Walden, Newport, Stansted Mountfitchet, Great Dunmow, Thaxted and surrounding villages.
