General information
Service offered: Hope is a progressive, radical anti-poverty charity that works to improve the lives of anyone affected by poverty, especially homelessness, through service, training, campaigning and advocacy. We offer a day centre for the homeless, vulnerable and disadvantaged of Northampton, providing basic needs (food, clothing, hot showers, hot drinks) and personal development via workshops and activities including: cookery, art, access to computers, health & well-being including relaxation and chiropody, sport, working on our allotment and other outings. With Big Lottery funding, we also provide support to access training, skills and work opportunities, partly within our associated social enterprise, Hope Enterprises. We also offer a social supermarket for low income members of the public.
