Service offered: The Acorn Centre offers different activities through the week and a social place for anyone 50+ to come and chat and make new friends. We also have 6 Lunch Clubs around the borough that all run 12pm till 2.30pm, Tuesdays – The Ship, Caister, Wednesday – The Victoria Inn, Martham and The Avenues, Great Yarmouth, Thursdays – The Kings Head, Belton and The Turnstone, Hopton and Friday we have Fish and Chip Fridays at the Acorn Centre. All the clubs charge £6.00 for a two-course meal, we also have a raffle, quizzes and a game of Hoi. Everyone is welcome and there is no need to book. For more information please call 01493 262052. Also we have Age UK advice service and Gordon Dean Solicitors that offer will, probate and power of attorney advice by appointment only, they come alternate Wednesdays to find out more call 01493 262052 or to book an appointment.
