General information

Service offered: Telephone helpline (116 123) operating 24 hours a day offering emotional support for anyone in crisis. Listening service for people who are isolated, feel in despair or who are suicidal. Outreach in local prisons, schools and for homeless people. The national Samaritans number (116 123) can also put callers through without delay to their nearest unengaged branch.

Target group: People who want to talk over a problem in confidence, including those in distress, despair/suicidal.
