Service offered: Resource centre for blind and partially sighted people, their families and carers. Provides equipment, information, technology support, volunteer visiting service, social and support groups and a quarterly newsletter in large print, audio or Braille. Information and support service at York Hospital. Also offers training on sight loss awareness for other organisations and businesses, and a National Lottery-funded outreach project helping visually impaired people to access groups and activities in the community.
