Service offered: Retina UK is the only UK charity dedicated to supporting people living with inherited retinal dystrophies and their families. We provide information and support via a Helpline, telephone Talk and Support service, Local Groups, webinars and Information Days as well as an Annual Conference. We also aim to raise funds for scientific research to provide treatments for inherited retinal dystrophies including retinitis pigmentosa (RP), rod-cone dystrophy; cone-rod dystrophy; choroideremia; LCA; Stargardts and Ushers Syndrome amongst others. We are also able to support other health care professionals who are supporting our community and want to know more about these conditions.
Target group: People with inherited retinal dystrophies including retinitis pigmentosa (RP) and other syndromes and their families and friends.
