General information

Service offered: Advice and information on all aspects for hearing loss. Lipreading and sign language (BSL) classes – in person and via Zoom. Display / demonstrations of specialist equipment and installation on behalf of East Sussex County Council, Adult Social Care. A volunteer led Hearing Aid Maintenance (HAM) and battery replacement service for NHS patients. Deaf Awareness Training (DAT). Support groups throughout the county.

Target group: Deaf, deafened, deaf/blind and hard of hearing people.

Monday: Centre closed (phone or email only)

Tuesday: 10am to 12:30pm and 1:30pm to 3.30pm

Wednesday: 10am to 12:30pm and 1:30pm to 3.30pm

Friday: Centre closed (phone or email only)

Weekends: The Centre is closed at weekends and bank holiday

Access notes: Some off street parking but not guaranteed. Nearest car park is located in Eastbourne Railway Station approx. 350 metres. Level access from Upperton Road. Limited access to BSL signing. Loop available.
