General information
Service offered: Whilst BYHP is known locally as an organisation helping homeless young people, we are in fact a charity supporting all young people aged between 13 and 25 who are homeless, at risk of homelessness, disadvantaged (and often their families) or simply in need of some advice and support. BYHP covers the areas of Banbury, Bicester, Brackley, Chipping Norton and the surrounding villages. We offers services in three core areas supporting between 200 and 300 young people annually: Health and Wellbeing - Counselling , Family Mediation, Peer Support Group Foodbank and a CAMHS project working with children and young people who it is deemed would benefit from some light-touch Mental Health intervention / Housing and Homelessness Advice - We will support young people to find and maintain accommodation / Training and Employability - Back on Track aims to transform the lives of young people aged 15-17 who are Not in Education, Employment or Training (NEET) or at risk of becoming NEET. UP Oxfordshire helps young people aged 17-19 who are NEET to discover their potential. Through 1-2-1 mentoring and coaching young people will quickly develop self-confidence, self-esteem, work readiness and employability.
