Service offered: BAVO provides support, guidance, practical assistance and information to local voluntary sector groups to develop skills, services and activities, ensuring they are represented across a wide range of issues locally, regionally and nationally. Community navigators work with individuals to identify their needs and then supports them to access community services or activities that they feel are right for them. Community Companions is BAVO’s befriending service for those who are house-bound and isolated and need a human connection.
Target group: Local organisations, community groups and the general public.
