General information

Service offered: Supports, promotes and develops local voluntary action and services. Information on local voluntary organisations, community and self-help groups. Volunteer Centre, recruiting volunteers for member organisations. Community Car Scheme for anyone with a disability or the elderly in the area who cannot use public transport easily. Let’s Chat Telephone support - a service that provides regular calls and a friendly chat to people who are lonely and/or isolated. Love Welwyn Hatfield is the community clean-up campaign to help improve public areas that require some TLC. Digital Inclusion- supporting people to get online. Love Welwyn Hatfield - working together with the local community we can keep our streets and local areas clean and looking good. We provide little pickers and bags for those who may want to work in the area that that live or we can connect you to group volunteering. Lite gardening for those who are unable to afford a gardener.
