Service offered: The Housing Options Service provides advice and assistance to people who are experiencing housing related problems whether they are social, or private rented tenants or homeowners. In the first instance we will try and help people remain in their home, if safe and reasonable to do so, by way of referrals to mediation, tenancy sustainment, Money Advice, setting up a payment plan for rent/mortgage arrears, tenancy advice, negotiating with Landlord/mortgage lender etc. The Housing Options Service is responsible for processing housing applications to join the Housing Register – MyHomeChoiceFyldeCoast - for social housing. It is also has the responsibility to deliver the Council’s duties under the homelessness legislation

Target group: Anyone who is homeless or threatened with homelessness, or in housing need.
