Service offered: We’re a Greater Manchester-based professional organisation, with over 40 years experience supporting, advising and working with victims & survivors of domestic abuse/violence. We support anyone over the age of 16 who is experiencing/has previously experienced domestic abuse/violence in any form, including: Physical abuse/violence. Financial/economic abuse. Emotional/psychological abuse. Sexual abuse/violence. Controlling behavior. Coercive behavior . Threatening behavior. Online abuse. Stalking/Harassment. FGM . Honour based abuse/violence . Forced marriages. We’re open Monday – Friday, 10am – 4pm and can be accessed by victims and survivors, professionals, and friends and family who want to support loved ones. We run the Community Helpline Language Service (CHLS), offering advice and support in Urdu and Punjabi. Our CHLS workers have a wide knowledge around cultural issues and barriers facing BAME communities, such as Honour Based Violence/Abuse, Forced Marriage, FGM, immigration issues, no recourse to public funds, Sharia divorce, domestic work/slavery. We’re able to access Language Line, for callers who speak other languages.

Target group: Anyone over 16 who is/has experienced domestic abuse and agencies working with them.
