General information

Service offered: At any one time, The Fed is supporting many hundreds of people of all ages living in their own homes or in our care home for older people at Heathlands Village. The Fed’s 350+ social workers, support workers, case workers, nurses, social care workers, care assistants, coordinators and behind-the-scenes staff, together with over 400 volunteers, provide care, advice and support through a range of projects and departments: Carers' Support Services l Community Care Team l Day Services l Drop In Mental Health Services l Moorview Supported Independent Living l Nursing Care l Palliative Care l Project Smile Play and Learn Service l The Purple Cafe (Community Cafe) l l Residential Care l South Manchester Project l Volunteer Support Services. Together these services make up one fantastic charity which is not replicated anywhere else in the UK
