General information

Service offered: Health & Wellbeing Advice & Advocacy, Normobaric & Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy, Counselling & Psychological Interventions, Massage & Exercise Equipment. The NHS provides Hyperbaric Oxygen for Decompression Sickness and Gas Toxicity, particularly Carbon Monoxide. MacMillan Cancer Support also recommends Hyperbaric Oxygen, and Cochrane Reviews are available on various conditions including Headaches and Diabetes, particularly Diabetic Foot Ulcers. Tel Aviv University recently completed a Clinical Trial treating Rodents with Alzheimer's Disease using Hyperbaric Oxygen. There are Military applications, and the American Military is trialling Hyperbaric Oxygen for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. Our Clientele, frequently referred to us by the NHS, includes people with Cancer, Diabetes, Neurological conditions & Sports injuries, also Wounds, Burns & Pre- & Post-Operative Work. We treated a former Captain of the English Cricket Team and a local Superbikes Racer. We have Waiting Lists for a Special Day for Parents & Children, & for Sessions providing information about Lyme Disease. We provide support for Carers, including Welfare Benefits.

Target group: People with multiple sclerosis, ME, cerebral palsy, strokes, cancer and other related problems, also people with sports injuries, breaks or other accidental damage.
