General information

Service offered: Advice and assistance on a range of housing problems, including landlord/tenant disputes, housing options, housing benefit and homelessness. Specialist debt advice team available to advise on all financial issues.

Target group: People who are homeless/threatened with homelessness, anyone with private sector housing problems.

Monday: 10am - 12 noon, 1pm - 4pm

Tuesday: 10am - 12 noon, 1pm - 4pm

Wednesday: 1pm - 4pm

Thursday: 10am - 12 noon, 1pm - 4pm

Friday: 10am - 12 noon, 1pm - 4pm

Weekends: If it is after 5.30pm (or any time at a weekend) and you have nowhere to sleep tonight please call the out of hours service for advice on 0191 278 7878

Access notes: There is no step free access to the Housing Advice Centre. A wheelchair ramp can be made available, please contact the Housing Advice Centre on 0191 277 1711 for further information. Some information available in Braille and on tape. BSL signers available by arrangement.
