Service offered: Advice and information for deaf, deafened, hard of hearing and deafblind people. Advice on benefits, disability, technical aids, training and housing. Assessment for environmental equipment. Communications service (BSL interpreters), fees for interpreting are negotiable. Social and group facilities. Advocacy service. Specialist equipment.
Target group: People who are deaf, deafened, hard of hearing or deafblind, their families, carers and friends.
Area served: St Helens Borough. Halton Borough Communications service covers the whole of North West England.
