Service offered: Assessment of Housing Need and Homelessness under the terms of the Housing (Northern Ireland) Order 1988. Can provide temporary accommodation for those assessed as in priority need - those with children or pregnant, vulnerable because of age (60+) or other vulnerabilities, disability or at risk from violence etc.. Also offers general housing advice and information and supports to private and council tenants, and homeless people. Out of hours phone 028 9056 5444. Public counter is opened from 9.30 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. each day apart from Thursday when it closed at 12.30 p.m. to facilitate staff training etc. Telephone lines are opened from 8.30 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. Monday to Fridays
Target group: People who are or may be exposed to homelessness and are deemed to be in priority need unintentionally. People who wish to access social housing and the general public.
