Service offered: Care and Repair in Powys offers advice and practical support with home repairs, adaptations and improvements for older people (60+) and younger disabled home owners or private tenants, to enable them to remain in the community as their housing needs change. We provide home assessments, assistance with finding reliable contractors, advice on sources of benefits and grant funding.
Target group: People aged over 60 and younger disabled people who are referred by Social Services who are home owners or private tenants
Area served: We cover the whole of Powys. As long as a client pays their Council tax to Powys we can assist them and of course meets the criteria for our service
