Service offered: DORCAS PROJECT – supplies basic donated furniture to families and individuals in need who have been referred to us by other agencies. There is a charge involved, please call for further information. CHRISTMAS COMPLETE – provides toys and gifts for children and young people who otherwise might go without presents. COMMUNITY RE-PAINT – redistributes donated paint to referred clients and community groups. FARESHARE – tackles food poverty and food waste, by supplying surplus food to local charities and community groups. MEGABITE MEAL SQUARES – is a means of providing hot meals to those begging on the streets and other vulnerable people.

Target group: Low waged and unemployed people, those in need in the local community.

Area served: Southampton, Waterside, Eastleigh, Winchester.

How to contact: By referral from other agencies only. Voucher scheme operates for clothing and food store.

Public transport: By train : We are a 15 minute walk from St Denys train station along Adelaide Road towards Horseshoe Bridge, then walk along the boardwalk between the River Itchen and the train lines. By bus : From Southampton Central take First bus 8, City Red 10 or Blue Star 16 or 18 to Northam Bridge.
