Service offered: The Albemarle Centre is a community centre in Taunton where everyone is welcome. It is owned by The Albemarle Ltd, a charity committed to providing daily support and social clubs for anyone with an additional need, including those with learning disabilities (LD), mental health problems, physical disabilities and the frail elderly. We also offer supported housing in our residential flats close to the town centre.On site we have the newly-decorated Alby’s pre-school for up to 20 children and we use the upstairs of our building for meeting room hire, available from just £14/hr. We have high speed broadband throughout the building at no extra charge, full wheelchair access including a lift, a small garden area and there are several public car parks nearby.
Target group: The local community, particularly people with disabilities.
