General information

Service offered: Based in the East End of London, the centre is for older Jewish people living in east London and the City. It has been at the heart of East London’s Jewish community for many years. We will continue to offer a hot, kosher meal on site, and transport will be co-ordinated by Jewish Care using community transport resources such as Dial-a-Ride, volunteer drivers and private hire to support any of our members who need additional assistance. The centre offers a therapeutic programme of activities for anyone who needs special care or who is suffering from a bereavement or isolation. It also offers a broad range of activities, including yoga, arts and crafts and discussion groups.

Target group: The Jewish community, particularly elderly.

Area served: London Borough of Tower Hamlets and neighbouring boroughs.

How to contact: Phone or via Jewish Care HelpDesk (020 8922 2222).
