General information
Service offered: Advice, information and support for Asian carers. Provide home based respite care to enable carers to take a break (maximum 2 hours a week per family at discounted charge of £3.99 per hour). Support for isolated elderly people and ensure clients access services they are entitled to. Assessments and referrals to statutory and other services. Home help with light housework and shopping. Escort people to hospital and appointments. Free Basic Advice & Information and help to fill in Benefit forms on Wednesdays and Thursdays 11:30 to 15:30 p.m. at our office, First floor in dominion Centre, By appointment only.
Target group: Asian carers. Isolated older people from all communities including the Asian community & all persons from the community needing or requiring support, help or advice are welcome.
