Service offered: Head office for the League of Jewish Women which has 27 voluntary groups nationally providing services for Jewish people and local people in need. Services include befriending and visiting schemes, practical help such as shopping, home and hospital visits. Welfare projects include a headwear service for people who have lost their hair through illness. Run day centres, friendship and lunch clubs.
