General information
Service offered: Trade Union based Centre providing services for unemployed and low waged people. Welfare Advice Service provides a range of ways to speak with an adviser, you can telephone, email, use social platforms or you can drop-in to the Centre, (adviser is not always available and you may have to wait or leave your details for an appointment to be made) We offer free, confidential, professional advice on all aspects of welfare benefits, including Universal Credit and Personal Independence Payments. You maybe are unsure of what you should claim, or you do not have access to internet to make your claim for Universal Credit or need to check your journal, the Welfare Advice Service is here for you. The Welfare Advice Service can assist with Form Filling, Benefit Calculations, Assist with Mandatory Reconsiderations, Assist you to make your appeal request, then, Make referral for representation at Appeal; we can also make a referral for you to use the local foodbank.

(we are limiting the footfall within the Centre, this is reviewed often & subject to change therefore we are not operating our face to face appointments, we offer telephone based appointments at the moment).
